Marcus and grasshopper

I remember spending time outside, catching bugs or making up some games with friends when I was a child. I don't think kids nowadays do that so much anymore. I think that's sad, so I love seeing Marcus going out to our backyard and playing with whatever he finds out there. 

私が子供の頃は虫を捕まえて遊んだりと、外で過ごすことが多かったと思うのですが、最近の子供たちはあんまり外で遊んでいない気がします。ちょっと寂しい傾向ですよね。だから、マーカスが時々うちの庭で遊ぶのを見るとうれしくなります。

The other day he found a grasshopper and asked me to take pictures of it.

この前はバッタを捕まえたから写真を撮って！と頼まれました。

撮影後、バッタどうするの？と聞いたら’もちろん逃がしてあげるよ、って。いつか夏に日本に連れて行って蝉取りしたり、クワガタ、カブトムシとか見せたいなぁ。
