We had Marcus's recital today. To tell you the truth, I've been soooo nervous about this. I knew that he would do great, but it's always difficult for me to watch my kids perform. It's not because I want them to play well in front of others, but I don't like to see them disappointed or discouraged if they make any mistakes.You always want them to do their best, and the hard part is that there's NOTHING I can do about it except watch them and pray!
It's a "mom" thing, I think, that she just can't relax and enjoy her child's performance.
Anyway, Marcus did great and I'm so proud of him. We're fortunate that he has a great teacher.
今日はマーカスのバイオリンリサイタルでした。もう数週間前からずーっとドキドキしていたんですけれど(私が緊張しても仕方ないのですけれどね)頑張って演奏することができましたよ～
いつもそうなのですけれど、子供の発表会ってどうしても緊張します。人前で上手く演奏してほしいとかというよりも、頑張って練習した彼らがもし失敗して落ち込んだりがっかりする姿を見るのがつらいからというのが最大の理由でしょうか。それでも私にできることは応援することだけ。代わりになることはできないし。(技術的にも到底無理なのですけど。笑）
とにかく、頑張ったマーカスの演奏のビデオです。1曲目はソロ、2曲目は先生とデュエットしました。
ただ、リオが撮影してくれましたがちゃんと最初から撮れてないのです。ハハハ(苦笑）
